Frequently Asked Questions

What Operator documents are required for a Private Operator Certificate (POC)?

For private operation of the aircraft the Guernsey Air Navigation Law section 77 requires the operator to be approved by means of a Section 77 approval (Private Operator Certificate/POC).

In essence, you will need an Ops Manual and an SMS appropriate to the complexity of your operation plus approved MEL(s).  Please be aware that it will need to be clear that your manuals are compliant with GARs rather than EASA, FAA or any other regulation.
